SERVER INSTALLATION:
Facts:- Metamod plugin with a dll + ini file.
Requirements:- Metamod installed and running already.
1) Create a folder called sxei under addons directory.
2) Place in the files you got from here.
3) Open the plugins.ini in metamod folder and ADD in this line:
win32 addonssxeisxei_mm.dll
4) Open server.cfg in cstrike folder and ADD in these lines:
ip 200.32.3.223
__sxei_internal_ip 192.168.0.5

200.32.3.223 => Your external IP/DNS address(the one you give on dils).
192.168.0.5 => Your internal IP/DNS address(the one that shows in the GUI of hlds. probably 192.168.1.10 or 10.0.0.10).

Note
None of the steps above is to be neglected.

CLIENT INSTALLATION:
Facts:- 3rd party application that runs sideway the game. Needed to enter any server protected by sxe. Injects itself in hl.exe.
Requirements:- See official website here. May need to disable UAC or AV.
1) Install the application as any executable.
2) Run application as ADMINISTRATOR(optional: you can run as normal user).
3) Run game.
4) Connect to server.

Note
sXe-injected client create a text document as 'sXe Injected.txt' w/o s.quotes under root directory of the game(for cs1.6 = where hl.exe is located). It contains info about functioning and success of processes such as injection and connection

Prevent executions of aliases. As such rendering scripts(bhop, lj, cj, crash) useless.

Some of the features require additional downloads such as an extra AMXMODX plugin. This applies to LocalBan and Screenshot functionality. Download to these amxx files can be found in the right column of the official sites under any feature category. Labelled 'DOWNLOAD SERVERS'.

I would like to stress on the screenshot feature that allows you, as admin, to take a screenshot of the screen of any player you suspect to be hacking. This does wonders as it confirms if any hacker went through the tight nets of sXe(rarely).
